RCM RC Products, LLC Newsletter: July 31, 2008

Good Afternoon!

Here are a few headlines to keep you up to speed with some recent developments here at RCM RC Products, LLC.

CK001 / CK002 REVISIONS
In making improvements to our prototype design on the table for the upcoming CK003 chassis kit, we have realized that there are a number of revisions that can be made along the same lines to the existing CK001 / CK002 platforms.

Two of these exciting changes have been implemented immediately with the current chassis kits so that our customers can benefit from improved performance, now.  The first of these improvements involves a redesign of the main chassis (P0016) piece that allows more flexibility with the owner's selection of aftermarket rear suspension arms.  This new chassis is designed to minimize any binding due to contact between the main chassis and the rear suspension arms themselves.

Good Afternoon!

We want to keep you updated with what's going on here at RCM RC Products, LLC.

CK003 IN DEVELOPMENT
We are proud to announce that our second generation chassis kit for the Traxxas electric Rustler has been successfully prototyped and is now undergoing testing for further development. Scheduled to be released later this year, CK003 will have several significant features and improvements over the previous versions of the kit.

Among other features, one of the first things the G-10 chassis owner will notice upon installation of this upcoming kit is the lower curb weight. Through refined methods of material selection, we have been able to eliminate over 1.5 ounces of weight in this new iteration of our world-renowned design.

We have also improved the battery mounting area in 3 key ways: First, we've tightened the battery cage to reduce the tendency of a battery to "bounce" when not secured tightly. Second, the battery will be secured with body clips for quick removal and secure installation. Third, we will utilize an all-new, innovative battery strap. In order to make the chassis more flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of today's hobbyist, we've designed this versatile strap for compatibility with 6 cell side-by-side, 6 cell "shotgun", 7 cell "hump" 2S lithium-polymer (lipo), and 3S lipo (with lift kit) battery packs.

We have trimmed the material in the servo area of the topdeck to drastically reduce mechanical binding, and have also upgraded to hardware to metric hex screws. Using Finite Element Analysis, we've discovered areas in the chassis that needed to be strengthened, and areas where material was not needed for purposes of strength. The result is a highly refined design that represents the pinnacle of Electric Rustler performance.

On schedule to be released in the coming months, this kit will be a must-have for any racer using the Rustler / Bandit platform. More developments to come!

ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS UNDER DEVELOPMENT
We are also pleased to report that additional "classified" projects currently in the prototype testing phase of development have passed the tests satisfactorily, as expected. We are now working to secure manufacturing and distribution channels for this innovative new line of products as we prepare to bring them to market this year. Keep your eyes peeled!

SERVER MIGRATION
Due to recent technical difficulties, we have recently moved our website to a different server. The site has been fully migrated and tested, and should be working at its previous capacity. Please inform us if you experience any problems with the website when navigating there.

We are constantly undergoing efforts to bring better and better products to the market for the benefit of you, the consumer. Please stay tuned as we continue to develop high quality parts to take the performance of your vehicle to an even higher level.

Only the finest!
