Backorder - an order placed and confirmed with the full payment for a product that is temporarily out of stock.

Think of a backorder as calling ahead and making a paid reservation at your favorite restaurant - when the day of the reservation comes, you've already reserved your table and you don't have to wait in the reception area for several minutes until you are served – instead you just go straight in and sit at your table.

Backorders work in much the same way. They are only confirmed once the entire payment is received, and guarantee that you will receive one of the first products to be restocked.

Backorders save you time, hassle, and headache. You'll never have to check daily to see if the product is available and then frantically try to beat the rush to grab one once it is in stock. By placing a backorder, you’ve already guaranteed your product, and have priority shipment status over all other customers once the product is in stock. That's the true beauty of the system: No check to wait on, no payment to confirm. It’s all taken care of ahead of time, so the process is actually faster than if you were to make a normal order.

What if I change my mind and want to cancel my backorder?
No problem! Just contact us to let us know of your wishes. Once you cancel your backorder, you cannot retrieve the same level of priority shipping status you held with the backorder. For lack of a better phrase, you would have to “Go to the back of the line”, so to speak, when you make a new order. This may mean having to wait longer to get the same product shipped to you.

Once the product I've backordered is in stock, when will it be shipped?
ASAP. Once the parts are in stock, we swiftly ship out orders to customers with priority shipping status in the order they were received, then we ship orders to all the customers that made orders once the product was in stock.

Can I place a backorder, get priority shipment status, but not pay until the product is in stock?
We only give priority shipment status to persons who pay for the backorder. In this way, we give an advantage to these customers that have paid and allow them to reap the full benefits of the backorder system: They get their products faster than anyone else, which is only fair as they paid ahead of time.
