The 14 year old Traxxas electric Rustler is in desperate need of better structural performance. Racers and bashers alike have been crying out for parts to keep their vehicles up to modern standards, and we're here to answer the call with our Professional G-10 Chassis Kit. A full 22% lighter than the stock piece, this chassis sports a curvy top deck that reaches all the way to the rear tower for maximum strength, but still allows the battery to be mounted parallel to the chassis for greater stability. The top deck and main chassis are bound together in ten different locations by heavy-duty, aluminum standoff. This ensures that the chassis will have the most resistance to torsional and lateral flex. So what does a stiff chassis mean to you? Gone are the days of unstable driving on bumpy surfaces. With the stock Rustler, the chassis bends so much that the suspension doesn't get a chance to absorb wheel impact thoroughly as shocks in the suspension mechanism are absorbed by the elasticity of the chassis itself. Our chassis provides a stiff backbone to ensure that the suspension has ample rigidity to do its job. Too much stiffness? That's an easy fix. Just remove the center pair of standoff and the chassis instantly becomes more flexible. Have a problem with oversteer? Just move the battery rearward to counter this problem and gain more rear traction to boot. Not enough steering bite? Move the battery forward to induce oversteer. This chassis is made to be strong, light, and adjustable so that it can tailor itself to your exact needs, on or off the track. So what about craftsmanship? Our kits are cut using high precision, Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Cutting machines. As always, all required hardware (and some extra parts) is included. Each kit comes with a complete, full-length manual. Every step has a quality, color photo to assist in the installation process.
